After many years working with a leading Bridal Gown Designer, I decided to take the plunge and start my own luxury couture accessory company.

I noticed there was a niche market out there for elegant, couture bridal and accessories that where unique and not the same as the mass produced items available everywhere.

I wanted to be able to offer something unique, for the fashion conscious girl who has chosen a stunning bridal gown and wants a luxury heirloom garter to match.  

I have sourced laces and fabrics from all over the world.  Some pieces have been purchased from little tucked away market stalls in rural areas of Europe and Asia, the Bazaars of Turkey, the islands of Greece.

Everywhere I travel I’m on the lookout for something special to add to my ever growing collection of laces and trimmings.

I love mixing old with new to create something really special, something  you can keep or pass on to the next generation... a modern heirloom!

My love of sparkly things and high quality led me use genuine Swarovski Crystal diamanté’s, crystals  and pearls for embellishments.  I love mixing these and using them in unison with other trims and components.

All of the Lulu L’Amour garters  are created by hand, by me, in my Perth studio. 

The Lulu L’Amour garters are definitely not for tossing......they are far too beautiful for that.  

If your choice is to toss the garter, a less expensive garter may be purchased and worn just below your Lulu L’Amour garter. 

Lulu L’Amour Garters are made to a standard size which will fit a leg measurement of 40-50cm. Measure your leg with a tape measure where you want to wear your garter. Measure firmly but not tight, and don’t add any extra as allowance is made for the stretch.

These custom garters will take 2 weeks to complete once your fabrics have been chosen.  You will need to provide your wedding date for these customised designs to ensure we have plenty of time for delivery.
